When is this all going down?

The official date is December 31st 2022 at Midnight. All Products Containing E-Liquid after this date are subject to Excise Tax by Canadian Federal law. All products manufactured after October 1st 2022 are also subject to Excise Tax by federal law regardless of the official roll-out date mentioned above. However, All products manufactured before October 1st 2022 can be sold without Excise Tax up until December 31st Midnight. With that being said, we have carefully forecasted a solid 3 month supply of bottles of e-liquid to keep us going until the official roll-out date so you don't have to pay the Excise Tax prematurely.

We can not guarantee that all Cold Turkey flavours in all the variants will be Excise Tax free up until that date therefore systematic price changes will start to occur as we run out of pre-October manufactured product. These new Excise Taxed products will have new labels as well as Duty paid stamps. You will not see an additional line on your receipts or invoices as Excise Tax is worked into the retail price. Please note that we can only speak to the product that we ourselves manufacture and not the other products such as Pods and Disposables that we bring in from around the globe. These "Other" products can start to incur Excise Tax as early as the first week in October 2022 or as late as December 31st 2022. The truth is, we just don't know when they will start arriving with stamps as we do not manufacture them. 

 Is there any light left at the end of that long tunnel?

I speak for all of us when I say we as an industry have suffered some intense regulations over the years. We have endured and persevered through all of it together. Regulation is inevitable in our Country but if it means we get to keep the one thing that keeps us from smoking then so be it. At the end of the day even with the Excise Tax, Vaping is still a much less harmful alternative to smoking and still way more cost effective.
