All orders MUST be placed before 3 PM EST to qualify for this service. Orders placed after this time will be delivered the next day. Our Same Day Delivery service will only be available Monday-Friday and orders will be delivered from 2 PM to 9 PM EST. Weekend orders will be delivered on the following Monday.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

You will see an option for Same Day Delivery when selecting your shipping method. Our system will automatically tell you if you are eligible or not based on your address and postal code.
Once your order is ready, you’ll receive a text message or e-mail confirmation that your order is out for delivery. At this time we can not offer specific time slots for deliveries. All deliveries will be taking place between the hours of 2 PM to 9 PM EST Monday - Friday.
If we can not make contact with you on the day of your delivery we will attempt to call you if unsuccessful we will re attempt delivery the next day.

If you are not located within the eligible delivery zone you can still place your order and have it shipped directly to you. We offer free delivery across Canada for all orders over $50 and orders are still being shipped out same-day through all of our courier services.

What is Federal and Provincial Excise Tax?

Important Excise Tax Information

We are very proud to announce that as of August 18th 2022 Cold Turkey Juice inc. officially received its Vaping products manufacturing license. This means we will be able to keep supplying you with the flavours you have come to love and trust.

How much is the tax?

The Government has implemented a Federal Excise Tax which we have listed below. It is important to note that upon adding this Federal Tax they gave the option to each province individually to add its own on top of the Federal amount. The Province of Ontario as well as Quebec, Nunavut and the Northwest territories have opted in.

Rates of excise duty on vaping products

Vaping liquids are measured in millilitres (mL) and vaping solids are measured in grams (g).

The current rates of excise duty in specified and non-specified vaping provinces are:

$1 per 2 mL or g or fraction thereof for the first 10 mL or g of vaping substance in the vaping device or immediate container
$1 per 10 mL or g or fraction thereof for amounts over the first 10 mL or g

Effective July 1, 2024, the rates of excise duty in non-specified vaping provinces would be:

$1.12 per 2 mL or g or fraction thereof for the first 10 mL or g of vaping substance in the vaping device or immediate container
$1.12 per 10 mL or g or fraction thereof for amounts over the first 10 mL or g

Effective July 1, 2024, the rates of excise duty in specified vaping provinces would be:

$2.24 per 2 mL or g or fraction thereof for the first 10 mL or g of vaping substance in the vaping device or immediate container ($1.12 vaping duty + $1.12 additional vaping duty)
$2.24 per 10 mL or g or fraction thereof for amounts over the first 10 mL or g ($1.12 vaping duty + $1.12 additional vaping duty)

It is equally as important to know that Cold Turkey Juice base prices before Federal and Provincial Excise Tax will be dropping slightly in order to alleviate the overall price increase due to the new excise tax. We will slowly see an increase in prices over the next 3 months as we start manufacturing product with the new provincial excise tax.

Example For Ontario, Quebec, Nunavut and Northwest Territories:

Cold Turkey Juice 3mg 60mL = $24.99 (No Excise Tax)
Cold Turkey Juice 3mg 60mL = $47.50 (With Excise Tax)

Example for all other provinces:

When is this all going down?

The official date is September 30th 2024 at Midnight. All Products Containing E-Liquid after this date are subject to Federal and Provincial Excise Tax in the above mentioned provinces only . All products manufactured after June 30th 2024 are also subject to Excise Tax by federal law regardless of the official roll-out date mentioned above. However, All products manufactured before June 30th 2024 can be sold without Provincial Excise Tax up until September 30th Midnight. With that being said, we have carefully forecasted a solid 3 month supply of bottles of e-liquid to keep us going until the official roll-out date so you don't have to pay the additional Provincial Excise Tax prematurely.

We can not guarantee that all Cold Turkey Juice flavours in all variants will be available free of provincial Excise Tax up until the end of September. Because of this, systematic price changes will occur as we run out of pre-deadline manufactured product. These new Provincial Excise Taxed products will have new duty paid stamps. You will not see an additional line on your receipts or invoices as Excise Tax is worked into the retail price. Please see above for pricing and price breakdown as well as examples.

Please note that we can only speak to the product that we ourselves manufacture and not the other products such as Pods and Disposables that we bring in from around the globe. These "Other" products can start to incur Provincial Excise Tax as early as the first week of July 2024 or as late as September 3oth 2024.

Is there any light left at the end of that long tunnel?

I speak for all of us when I say we as an industry have suffered some intense regulations over the years. We have endured and persevered through all of it together. Regulation is inevitable in our Country but if it means we get to keep the one thing that keeps us from smoking then so be it. At the end of the day even with the Excise Tax, Vaping is still a much less harmful alternative to smoking and still way more cost effective.
